Our story.

Old Abbey House has been a major part of Abingdon’s history all the way back to the 18th century. This Grade II listed house was originally owned in the 1700s by a leading Abingdon-based businessman, followed by the Mayor of Abingdon: E. J Trendell.

Local property developer, Ede Holdings Ltd, sought to sympathetically restore key historical features such as stained-glass windows, original brickwork and ornate fireplaces. We have given a new lease of life to this stunning building which can now be admired and appreciated by all.
